Rilmani

The rilmani (pronunciation) are the protectors and personifications of the cosmic Balance between Good, Evil, Law, and Chaos. They dwell in the Outlands near the Spire, but send out agents to every other plane to ensure that no side gets too much of an upper hand.

Rilmani prefer to manipulate other races subtly, from behind the scenes, but when they feel the situation calls for it they are willing to send legions of Ferrumach warriors to deal with a situation militarily.

Rilmani are among the five signatories of the Draeden Compact, governing the transmission of pre-Great Wheel arcane secrets. The other signatories to the pact are the Mapmakers, Keepers, Devetes, and Githzerai.
