Mapmakers are humanoid lizardkin, native to Pandemonium, with weaselish features. They enjoy misleading planewalkers with misleading maps, which they create as beautiful works of art. Their scintillating wings cause madness, and they possess a powerful psionic mind thrust attack.
Mapmakers are among the five signatories of the Draeden Compact, governing the transmission of pre-Great Wheel arcane secrets. The other signatories to the pact are the Keepers, Rilmani, Devetes, and Githzerai.
