Apomps

Apomps the Three-Sided is thought to have been a Baernaloth, one of the primal creators of Evil. While the other baernaloths were deliberating on their chosen race, the Yugoloths, Apomps went out and created a race on his own, expending a great deal of his own power to do so: the Gehreleths.

The other baernaloths rejected Apomps' creation, claiming they were impure and tainted with Chaos (an ironic charge, as the yugoloths would later be tainted with Chaos and Law as well, and need to be purged). Apomps and his creations retreated to Carceri, where they dwell still.

Or so it is said.
