I only skimmed it, but the "fluff" seems surprisingly decent, actually.

They actually gave this article a lot more thought than they did with all those Monster Manual entries.

That's one thing for sure.

Schwalb did a good job and 99% of the article was transportable to the GW. Though one could tell Jacobs and Mona's grand design is no longer present in the series.

Well, the two things I loved about the Demonomicon articles other than the fluff were the Thrall prcs and new monster.

What do we have here? No Thrall, cuz 4E doesn't have prcs, and the new monster is a mean hyena.

No 3E stuff at all. Honestly, I couldn't finish reading it because I groaned every time I saw the word "primordial".

I give it two thumbs down. ¬_¬

Nice, it’s very well-written!

I particularly like the plot potential in the unresolved state with Doresain’s lost ghouls – Yeenoghu might eventually succeed in shepherding them into his flocks, but then again they might turn to an ambitious rival and be used against him (Orcus could fit, considering his dominion over the undead).

It’s pretty gruesome scenarios depicted, too, what with the remains of sacrificial victims being rained down on waiting victims every day. I guess Yeenoghu figured the endless torture and visual display isn’t enough to remind them of their coming fate – they not to feel the bloody guts of their former “buddies” on their face on a regular basis, too!

I’m not too fond of the emphasis on excrement in the article, but I guess such depravity is fitting nonetheless.

I think it’s a shame you wouldn’t read it, but judge it anyway - most of the lore is fully usable in the Great Wheel cosmos. Prestige classes are virtually equivalent to paragon paths, by the way, except the latter gives you benefits in addition to your normal class progression, not instead of it.

Did the article include a Thrall of Yeenoghu paragon path? I don't recall seeing one there.

There isn't one. Regardless, I'd recommend reading it anyway - there's lots of useable flavour in it.

To be fair, Yeenoghu is the Demonic incarnation of butchery and wanton carnage. Eye-wink
