Yamamoto Date

I was reading through On Hallowed Ground and saw that this hero was listed as the proxy for Izanagi and Izanami of the Japanese Pantheon. IIRC he was originally written up in 1st ed. Deities & Demigods and then in 2nd ed. Legends & Lore. Unfortunately, I don't have those books on hand and I was wondering if anyone had the descriptive text from either of those books?

Thanks Quale...Apparently Yamamoto was edited out and is not in L&L...Anyone have what is written in Deities and Demigods?...
