There's a new cartoon this time from the ones that brought "Rawr I'm a Monster!" where this time they interview the Lady of Pain. It's at the WotC site as the DMG2 interview.
I think you can say that's a skill challenge gone wrong.

I think she was being easy on him using the Styx Oarsmen chandelier on him instead of just outright flaying him.
And I wonder what does a gelatinous cube drink when it goes to a bar?
Funny!

Yeah, I actually liked it a lot. It's really good to see explicitly Planescape like this. This is the first official animated depiction of Sigil since the Torment video game, I think. It looks good.
I can't help but wonder if she went easy on him because she was just a little bit flattered...
I have to agree. In fact, I wonder if our narrator didn't realize he scored a success on that first one!
"She shares her drink with you."
"Score!"
"It burns."
"Ow."
Do you think the Lady ever shows up at swank Sigilian soirees to swan around silently? No one could ever predict her showing up, of course, but it would simultaneously shut the party down entirely, and be an incredible coup for the host. It would certainly put a stamp of tacit approval on the opening ceremonies for any project that had a chance of affecting the city in some significant way.
Probably the best balance there would be for her to show up, take a look at whatever the point of the gathering was, and leave with nobody flayed, or maybe just a rival of the host's.
And do you invite her? Is it rude not to once you're sufficiently high-status, or is it stupid to try?
She was very patient with him, all things considered.
The animators handled her pretty well. I'm glad she doesn't talk.
Also, one of the better images of Sigil's curving streets.
