I say YES, but maybe in a separate section away from "True" Planescape material, or marked in some way (i.e. "4E material") so people can tell the difference...
Will 4E material (monsters, Planes, etc...) be listed here?
I forsee that we will gain a handful of intresting demi-planes and maybe some new monsters to play with. You're crazy if you think we'll throw out all of our wonderful 3E material just because the new and "improved" 4E material is out.
Who said anything about dumping 1st, 2nd and 3rd material??? I just said that maybe 4E stuff could be ADDED in a special section... I sure as heck didn't mean "dump the Great Wheel"!!!
It might make sense to add a tag for Edition in the Encyclopedia (and elsewhere). That way, we could identify the entries and sections that are specific to 2E, 3E or 4E. We can even include notes about something when it is structured differently. For isntance:
Astral Plane
2E: Connects the prime to the outer planes
3E: Default plane for travelling to other planes. Connects the prime to inner and outer planes.
Or something like that.
Do people really think the admins should waste their time "updating" this website for something so abysmal, and terrible and wretched. Something that is designed to stand against everything this website holds dear and tries to maintain with all its fighting spirit?
I mean yeah lets build a separate section of this website and put a bunch of corporate plugged drivel, in own little hovel, that basically just scraps the entire planes and turns gnomes into slavering monsters, Bytopia must be a land of wonders in THAT section and turns pit fiends into the equivelent of a particularly nasty sneeze.
I mean seriously what possible story based encyclopaedic knowledge could 4E possibly contain, that would actually be worth the effort of jotting down. I'm sure if you were to take an original planescape document and delete everything between the first and last paragraph you would have you highly useless and altogether complete 4E planescape document.
To browse as your mind slowly turns to a oozing mush!
I'm quite sure that after June just about all new material here will be in 4e stats, simply because that will be what everyone is looking for. 3e is going to be dropped pretty quickly, since Planescape was 2e to begin with and wasn't beholden to that edition. Of course many articles here are pretty well edition-proof as they were quite light in rules material to begin with, and changing a bunch of things to 4e rules from 3e won't be that difficult.
I doubt it. Given the negative response to 4e, it may be several years.

Well, by the rules of the PSCS, the 2e is used. I assume that most of the new crunch will eventually be used, but the planes will probably remain the same.
Here?
The WotC boards?
EN World?
In all cases they've been from a small outspoken minority. The vast majority is just ambivalent and waiting to see how things turn out, as no one has really seen the full system out yet.
I'd say that for a big company like WoTC, ambivilance is negative, but that's really nit-picking. Because of the wait-and-see atititude, it may take a while for people to make decesions.
Yeah, I'd say wait until we actually see the books; a whole lotta people here (and elsewhere) sure seem against 4E! If a majority just don't want 4E on this site, so be it... presumably 4E lovers will eventually create their own fan-site. I'm probably going to buy the books, but that's just me... and I'll still use my 3E books for Planescape adventuring, most likely...
I imagine the admins will host whatever is submitted to them. If someone submits a 4e converted players guide I highly doubt they'd knock it back. On the other hand I don't think anyone would lose sleep if there weren't any 4e submissions.
And we shall call it...the rubbish bin. Muhahahah!
In all seriousness, that's probably the way to go, especially since it seems not nearly everyone here is switching.
