Where to start new Roleplayers in Planescape

Okay, so I've got a group of 3-6 college age individuals willing to roleplay, and since I'm dming and have the most roleplay experience of the group (All new comers, but some of them have played a session or two of homebrew) I'm having us start play in Sigil.

My problem is, I don't have the foggiest on where to start them off at, or what would be the best intro adventure. I don't want to run anything too barmy like Harbinger House, but I also want to make sure I get them used to the game and amazed quickly (keep 'em intrested, ya know)

Does anyone have a suggestion on an opening module, or what character concepts I should start throwing out to a bunch of clueless looking to game in the Wheel?

"Doors to the Unknown" is a nice one, in my mind.

The first adventure in "Well of Worlds" is good as an introductory adventure. I'd also recommend "Eternal Boundary" (especially if you are going to base part of the future adventures in Sigil). Another good part-Sigil-based adventure is "Something Wild" - probably best run as a second adventure.

"Doors to the Unknown" is an interesting adventure, but in my opinion I'd be reluctant to run it as a first off. "Great Modron March" is a nice one to acquaint the players with the planes, as they can follow the modrons from one plane to the next with the various adventures contained in that campaign.
