I used to have everything Planescape, then I moved and couldn't find a good group. After all my 2e stuff sat in a footlocker for about 3 years, I put it up on ebay. Now I want it all back! I'm sure it is all out of print. I've been able to find a small amout in local used book stores. Anyone have any tips...other than ebay. People want an arm and a leg for the boxed set on ebay.
Where do I find Planescape materials?

Ebay is my primary source for 2nd edition materials, but occasionally I find something in the used section of the local game stores, beware though, its getting expensive.
I'm not sure if there's pdf versions for sale anywhere, honestly I've never been that into pdf books, so I havent investigated it.
If you can make do with 3/3.5 edition materials, there's a lot of stuff on this site, specifically here: /editorial-section/30/35-pscs
Its also worthwhile to comb through the planewalker site, there's tons of goodies and the forums (especially the older threads) are full of links to other interesting places.
I felt I didn't have much to say, since I got mine in pdf from drivethrurpg, but they don't seem to have it anymore. Perhaps other places might? Although I don't know if there's any legitimate license for it at all these days.
Actually, to be honest, I never even saw this topic on the side bar. Sorry mate!
Yeah, I got almost of mine when the legal pdfs were around. Not sure if WotC will release those again.
But definitely stick around, there's a lot of good campaign material at this site. You say you're not a Clueless eh? Contribute to the "A Day in the Life of Planar" thread - I dare ya!

I try to pick up used PS stuff whenever I see it come up in my FLGS, but it doesn't have all that often. So sadly, and chastise me all you like, most of my stuff I have in a .pdf form of questionable legality, due to my being unable to get the materials in any legitimate fashion (I rediscovered PS well after the legit .pdf's were pulled :/ ). If there would be a reprint of the stuff, I'd snap it up quick because I'd rather have something tangible to read rather than something I'd have to rely on a computer to use.
Unfortunately there is no legit place to buy PDFs of TSR or WoTC stuff right now. After some leak with 4e some time back (can't remember the details), in an attempt at cutting down on piracy, WoTC pulled all their PDFs from all merchants, even older materials.
Which is a terrible move, because I think it only encourages piracy.

Yeah, I actually find it hilarious. If they brought back the PDFs, and even twice a year published a new, genuine Great Wheel PS product as a PDF, I would buy it. Same with a lot of the old settings.
I have tons of Paizo PDFs I haven't even gotten around to finishing and I'm not playing in any games. I just love the setting they've created and support their creativity and I think they've hit the sweet spot with pricing and production.

Thanks for your help everyone! I really appreciate it. I was really hoping someone would tell me where to find .pdf's online since I haven't been able to myself. I really hate using a computer to read PS stuff, but I'll take what I can get. I was afraid they had taken everything off the net, and your comments confirm that suspicion. I guess I continue looking at my FLGS, which has turned up nothing as of yet. I have gotten lucky at a used book store once.
I'd love to be commenting on/reading a lot of the old threads, but I dont' have internet access at home. I am able to use it at work, very carefully on breaks etc., but I need my job more than PS, right now...but eventually...
Thanks for your help. If anyone runs across the boxed set, let me know and I'll buy it from you.

We do have a lot of good info here on planewalker.com, though. In particular, up at the top of the site, you can find the 3.0/3.5 PSCS, designed to let you run a decent Planescape game without having met the setting before; and the wiki, which (in theory) covers all planar topics you may have need of.
