Going to OOCly introduce

Going to OOCly introduce the NPC healer for you guys.

Meet Astiel the shaman.  He's an aasimar (using Deva rules) descended from a monadic deva (or whichever deva it is that has special interest in the Inner Planes) who grew up as part of a semi-monastic order of druids, shamans, and other sorts devoted to promoting the balance of the Inner Planes.  Astiel's shamanic powers, as a result, focus more on elemental energies and spirits than other primal forces like plants and animals.  His spirit companion, for example, appears as an elemental of whichever plane he's on.

Astiel has pale brown skin marked with painted green markings that symbolize his order.  His eyes are pearly and he carries himself with a quiet, unassuming air and comes off as kind of stoic.  Since he's not supposed to play much part outside of combat, I decided he'd get a more easily-overlooked personality.  You'll be meeting him shortly after Phase III starts and you reunite with Thalivan.

Chiming in!  If nobody

Chiming in!

If nobody minds a little delay between my posts, we can go ahead and get rolling. I don't want to be a hindrance to things.

I am in, if ya still want

I am in, if ya still want me? I will have to check my character but otherwise I am ready. I am sorry for the late answer but I have had a lot of rl issues to handle before I had time to get back to you guys.

Let's see, I promised you to let you hear what I though about the story/game so far, and here it is.

Fase1

Being a new player to planewalker, I really enjoyed the first act. I was struck by the fact that this city of glass was alien and interessting which captured my attention. It was a good idea of using the ice genasi guide.

The work for Thalivan was somewhat vague since there were some misunderstanding in the beginning, that we met him in sigil and he became a object of mistrust. That created some uncertainty, is he is trying to help the city or not, which is good.

Finding the bodies of men that have been sucked dry was a shocker even though we could tell something was fishy before we entered the store. The whole mystery solving part was fun and mindwretching but I wished that it was a bit longer, in that sense that we would first meet the facets later in the game to reveal that they were the bad guys behind that attack. Perhaps meet more individuals that have been sucked dry throughout the game and finally confront them, so other fights would be monsters, henchmen or servants until that point. This would of course alter the story a little bit, but creating that tension for the players not knowing what they are up against would only benefit your good story.

The fight could have been a bit harder but was indeed entertaining.

My last comment to this fase, is that I wanted to state, that I don't know whats up ahead, so that my presumptions about the facets being the main bad guy and other stuff might be far off.

Fase 2

Here I have almost nothing to say, It was good. I do have some comments though:

The Drachmir: The hound was pretty awesome and I like the fact we couldnt boss him around. I am still pissed that I had to pay him so much for the info, nah just joking Tongue out.

Inn:The in was lavish and nicely described

The Fight: I liked the fact it was a rescue mission and that we had to protect Ghadir. Still a bit too easy.

Sharish: I am really hoping that we will meet him later in the game since he is pretty cool.

Ghadir: Well, I like the fact that after we saved him he almost bailed on us. This was surprising and created another situation for the players to overcome which they thought was granted by saving him, a bit of twist, I like that.

Well, that was it, I hope you can use my comments and suggestions.

No worries about real life

No worries about real life Smiling I can't exactly harp on you guys for taking time to handle life concerns, can I? Eye-wink

Most of your feedback I can't properly respond to, other than to say, "Wait and see."  However, I'm glad you are enjoying things so far.

I am curious about one point you raised.  What do you think made the fights so easy for you?  I personally felt they were too hard for you guys, so I'd like to know what it was like on your end.

Thank you for the feedback!

Sorry about this, guys, but

Sorry about this, guys, but I think I'm going to close the game >_< I am going to be busier than I thought this summer with various art projects (not the least of which is getting the webcomic off the ground) so I unfortunately have to let this fall to the side :/

If I pick it back up later, you're all welcome to play again.  But thanks for sticking it out with me up to this point!

I'm sorry we can't finish this, but I understand. I hope things go well for you this summer.
