Was digging through the Warehouse 23 basement, and found this gem...

Quote:
You open one of the 1002 boxes on this floor and find... The diaries of an English chemist, one Jon Winter, concerning his extra-dimensional exploits under the pseudonym 'Voila!' His tales recount a city built of lorry tyres, an infinitely long pole, robots, many demons, and a woman with knives. Among the box's other contents are a badly burned book titled "...esto," a collection of oddly shaped skulls, a piece of unidentifiable dark gray metal, a book entitled "Brix's Guide," and a small mechanical skull.

Funny, ne?

Yeah, as I recall Voila was the webmaster's moniker.

That's Voila! with an exclaimation point, and an accent mark over the a. He's a githzerai with a lot of mimirs.

I included him as an NPC in a play-by-post game I ran, introducing him as the adopted son of a good-aligned beholder (partially explaining his interest in floating head-shaped objects) and an apprentice of the Master of Bones (completing the explanation).

And yes, Jon Winter is an English chemist as well as the Mimir webmaster.
