Urban adventures

What other D&D or Pathfinder adventures can be adapted for Sigil? I got Streets of Zobeck [Kobold Press], it looks possible ...

Re: Urban adventures

The Speaker in Dreams, possibly.
Bastion of Broken Souls (the Guild of Sleep would work well in Sigil, though I'd put the other parts elsewhere)
The Banewarrens (Malhavoc Press)

1000 Screams, where the PCs fight a fey lord, seems applicable.

The Banewarrens are almost what I'm looking for, perfect.

Sound of a Thousand Screams? Funny, we just finished this campaign after a year.

Re: Urban adventures

Sorry, I was thinking of Sigil as a launching point, not an adventure taking place in Sigil.

There was an early one, involving a serial killer, I think it was the second adventure in the Rise of the Runelords path?

I think Madness in Freeport could work. The ball scene at the beginning is a great opportunity to meet Sigil's movers and shakers, and a lot of the action could take place in submerged sewer tunnels beneath the city streets. Ancient serpent people whose dominance over Sigil was shattered thousands of years ago, with most of them reduced to living under the streets, and an attempt to build a tower or monument that manifests some aspect of Hastur could all happen in the City of Doors.

Thanks, I will check it out, I know Hastur from other books.

Re: Urban adventures

I've searched through a lot of sources and found these -

U2 Hangman's Noose: needs change the ghost executioner into a Mercykiller

Masks of the Living God: easily adaptable for an Athar mission, tough I know my players would not like this adventure.

Re: Urban adventures

I haven't read it, but Jewels of the Carnifex sounds promising.

"At the end of a forgotten back alley, in the weird and otherworldly marketplace of faiths known as the Bazaar of the Gods, stands the ruins of a forgotten chapel. Once the cult of the Carnifex was celebrated throughout the City of a Thousand Gates. But a band of holy warriors rose against the cult of executioners and torturers, casting down her signs and scattering her devotees to the winds. The fate of the cthonic goddess, and – more importantly – her fabled jewels remains a mystery…until this night.

Set amid the sprawling decadence of Punjar, Jewels of the Carnifex offers low-level adventurers a chance to plumb the mysteries beneath the city’s soiled streets, explore forgotten crypts lavished with weird artifacts, and – for the quick and daring – claim the lost Jewels of the Carnifex!"

Great find, sounds as good as The Banewarrens. I'd never look among the dungeon crawls.

Now is the time to get Bundle of Holding from Kobold Press. Streets of Zobeck and Alleys of Zobeck would both work very well in Sigil.

Yes, from my experience it works, for example in the first adventure the girl who dreams was a Signer, and kobolds the Collectors.

Re: Urban adventures

The Eberron adventure 'Quoth the Raven' from the final Dungeon issue can be adapted to Planescape quite well too. Sharn has a similar cosmopolitan flair and many sites can be a adapted (Hells Heart = Gatehouse, Oriens Graveyard is in the Slags...).
