I've noticed that. Had you tried to upload a new icon and it did that? Or did it do that one day out of the blue?

This is a stab in the dark, but try making it a jpeg instead of a gif.

Mine's a gif too - I've got the feeling it's something to do with the uploaded file getting misplaced - either the name of it, or at some point when you updated your profile it got screwed up.

I have the same problem. Not only that but I can't even see the Avatara gallery. I wanted to be Krishna!

Ok. The *gallery* should be fixed. Still trying to figure out how you lost your avatar - looks like the image isn't there in the file system anymore.

It could also be because I'm trying to do it at work and they probably have special security issues Laughing out loud

but i tried doing it directly HTML wise too and that didn't work.

Ok - I took a look at yours and I see what is going on - you're putting in a URL to an off planewalker site. The system is designed for an image to be uploaded - not linked to. So try uploading that image you've got on photobucket instead of linking to it.

Try the upload.
Linking to the image the way you've done it (by entering the URL in the field) is not going to work.

When you do upload the file - if it gives you an error message (and it should) take note of what that message is. Remember - images that you upload have to be within a certain size limit for width and height, and a size limit for file size.
