I noticed that no one's responded to my repost of Torque's Casino, which don't want to simply let die. Is anyone interested? Please let me know. If requested I'll post more on the characters.

This looks interesting, so I'll give it a go. I don't think I've been here long enough to see the previous thread, so could you give some more information? Thanks.

Sure, I'll give you the info you need.

This thread is a freeform, meaning no dice-rolling or statting out, just to let you know.

Takouba is an echideneco tiefling and a member of the Sensates. But despite his demonic heritage, he isn't evil, mostly due to being raised in Ysgard by a drow priestess of Eilistraee.

The boy Takouba has found lost his entire family in a fire that was set by a crazed dwarf, who also happens to be a member of the Harmonium. The dwarf is obsessed with destroying all non-lawful beings, regardless of their alignment. The boy is of ghaele eladrin descent, and has relatives in Arborea, which is while Takouba plans to take him there.

A good character for this thread would be a clueless prime (not the comic relief kind), or a fellow Sensate. My characters aren't the kind who enjoy peeling clueless primes, and are actually good sources of information.

That sounds good. I've never played in a free-form game though, so please bear with me.

Would you want the character to know any of the people you mention beforehand? If I played a prime, would you have wanted me to detail how he got on the planes in a background beforehand?

That's up to you to decide. If they're going to be a clueless prime, they most likely wouldn't know any of my characters.

Info on your character would be nice though, So I can know what to expect.

Since Surreal Personae has disspappeared on me, is *anyone* else interested?

I'm looking for serious players here, not just "I'd like to play, but I'm busy" or people who show interest then skip out. Does anyomne out there want to play? Sad

Sorry, I've been setting up a new computer and having some troubles. I have my character Garrick Fleming,

Garrick Fleming is a human rogue from one of the many various prime worlds. He was once training to become part of the clergy in one of his world's most prestigious churches. Somehow though, he became enraveled in the politics of the church and saw the seedy underbelly of it. In reaction Garrick lost his faith.

Today Garrick is a skeptic of everything and loathes belief put on faith alone. He thinks there is a conspiracy behind everything. The many years since his more idealistic days has not been kind to Garrick. He has adopted a grizzled, cynical look, unshaven and world-weary. Garrick pursues forgetfulness by consuming a variety of intoxicants at once. Despite this, he never seems to work up an addiction. He generally thinks lowly of philosophers and other intellectuals interested in abstract theory. Generally the lone wanderer speaks as if he dislikes everyone, insulting many he comes across.

Despite his misanthropic tendencies, Garrick has one addiction: helping the underdog and lost causes. He is especially fond of helping children, since he views them as the only ones not ruined by the sins of the world. And though he has a dislike for many people, he hates bigots and fanatics most of all.

Garrick reached the planes through something of an accident. He came across a mad celestial determined to rid his world of evil. The problem was that the angel was going to sacrifice the innocence of 100 children to do so. During the ensuing battle, a powerful explosion sent Garrick flying through the planes. Since then, he has made his way to Sigil. Garrick is Clueless but in an opposite way of most Primes. Garrick sees darker motives behind everything said, everything done. Despite this, there is some part of the detective that still seeks to find a cause he can truely believe in.
