Hello

I'm french, and I'm tired to search in vain something I need highly.
I'm creating a card system to run planescape and the entire DD multiverse, a bit like the Magic card but in a more "light" version. To be clear, this system will just focus on the fight rules.

And to do it, i need the police ( hope it's the good term in english..) used in planescape's citations one find in all the books and in the quotes of Planewalker.com. It would be pretty good to retrieve the planar/sigilian atmosphere, just like the italics texts in magic, especially with an image on cards!
If you see what I mean, please send me a mail and tell me how and where i could get the right police.

Thanks

The Planewlaker

I'm fairly sure that 'police' is not the correct word in English for what you're referring to. That's the english word for law enforcement officers, and don't often appear in quotes or system flavor. Laughing out loud

If what you want is the font lettering used to display quotes, it's called Exocet and is available direct from Planewalker. Get it here.

Hope this helps!

Je ne sais pas si ceci est utile pour vous, mais il y a un jeu de carte que s'appelle "Blood Wars." Aujourd'hui, la compagnie ne se vend pas le jeu, mais, on peut l'acheter les cartes sur l'Internet.

Pardonez mon ecriture. Ce représente medi-semestre d'étudier le français.

Thanks, I took a look around. I didn't know such a card-game was. But I my aim is to create a rule-system for planescape, as SAGA is for Dragonlance, not just a card-game.

By the way, is there some french planescape's fan here ??

I've been wanting to get ahold of some SAGA cards for awhile now to convert them for use in Planescape. Let me know once you get your's worked out, I'd really like to see them.

Re: French Planewalkers - I don't know if we have anyone else on the forums unfortunately. I know there are a number of translators who have signed up to translate planewalker's material but I don't think any of them were French.

Wasn't there any slang popular among thieves and lower classes back in 17th Century Paris?

Well yes, and that's indeed what we are using. When you browse aroud on the web, it's quite easy to find.

But I don't always find it as mean as it sounds in english, it often sound silly more than anything... especially when youre not from France I suppose.
