Greetings all,
I have a boon to request from those capable of performing; namely, those in possession of all of the Planescape sets, books and modules.
IMC I'm developing a book entitled, 'the TAINT,' which is a secret tome of all prominent (read: known) Tieflings residing around the Great Wheel. Chant has it that it was initially created by an assassin's guild in an attempt to narrow down the playing field for a client. A client of considerable financial means wanted one tiefling put in the dead book, but for the life of the berk, he couldn't remember who it was. Thus someone came up with the notion that if a written log of all known tiefers was presented to the client, he could identify his intended victim easier and the book was made. Fast forward; the book has turned up missing and all tiefers are somewhat nervous as the word has been leaked into the streets. Who would've (could've) done such a thing? A rival guild? A rouge assassin? A higher-up taking matters into his own hand? Worse? No truly knows. The leader, however, wants the book and/or its whereabouts YESTERDAY!!!! Enter the PCs, they've been chosen to find this book.
What I need (in an attempt to 'flesh it out' and add realism) is some chant on those I'm missing. To date, I don't have 'A Guide to the Astral Plane,' 'Faction War,' 'A Guide to the Ethereal Plane,' nor 'The Inner Planes.' I scoured all my texts extracting useable chant in the following categories: name, race, sex, faction (if applicable), location & background. The background is the true dark on the blood and is not in the actual book, so it serves as a DM tool. Race, although predominantly tiefling, can be further defined by heritage chant; such as, of baatific or abyssal descent.
Any help any one can provide would be welcome. I'm currently at 103 entries. I've even included a few stray entries from the internet. A few names I don't have the dark on include, Barius Sharpsplinter, Maribach, Pog Brusstuckle, Tarahiel & Bantrice the Potter. Any other names, chant & dark would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Any chance you could drop the current 103 entries into a post on the thread - that way we know what you already have and can fill in from there?
