The Factol's Manifesto is the main source of information on the Great Upheaval, detailing what happened to many (but not nearly all) of the factions of that time. There's not a great deal of information anywhere. Most of the hundreds of factions that existed before the Upheaval are simply gone now, absorbed into the fifteen or so modern factions or wiped out.
ahh okay, i haven't read factol's manifesto yet, but is there any mention about all the factions before the great upheaval in that book?
