I keep hearing terms like "stingers" used for jink in Sigil - what's the chant on this? Where did these terms come from, and what do they mean in terms of their value (i.e. is a "stinger" equal to a Gold piece? A Copper?) Somebody please clue me in on this! I assume the terms are a fan creation, since I never saw those terms for money used in the "official" Planescape books...

3) ?????
4) Profit!
Stinger = Silver piece, since certain fiend races are allergic to silver
Green = Copper, since sigil's 'climate' rusts copper green very quickly
Jink (either one coin or a general term), or Jinx (several coins) = Gold, since gold is the root of evil and lusting after it can bring bad luck. Also because of the sound a bag full of coins makes.
Mert = Platinum, but I don't know the reason for this name.
