Review the conversation

Review the conversation between the 2 thugs.

A scroll of teleport never comes with a preprogramed place to Sid's knowledge. Though it may be also possible to divine the writer of the note or to attempt to scry on them, but neither is a 100% certainty The scrying at leat is worth a try, legend lore isn't cheap, though.

I'm seperated from my books

I'm seperated from my books at present, but I'd sugest being careful of your wrding. Specifically, I'd suggest you use the leader of "An" as opposed to "The" in assasin's guild. Sigil has thousands, and aquestion like that will tell you nothing.

Can't cast contact outer plane in Sigil. Not an issue here, just a reminder. Should I answer your first questions or wait for 3 more.

OOC: Your questions are dangerously vauge, and like wish, the entity anwers based on the wording, not the intent of your question regardless of it's truthfulness or the lack thereof.

I thought it was only summoning that did not work, its not as if i am trying to get a lesser diety in Sigil or something Sticking out tongue

It is the first time i am using this spell, and i love the idea, although i am not yet practical enough with wordings, thats why i asked the rest of the group to help me, but sofar none has answered...

Wait till i have 6 questions plz, it also gives me time to word better perhaps..

OOC: sorry for the recent

OOC: sorry for the recent slowness, guys. The seperate characters thing is causing me some trouble at present. It leads to annother group adventure, which I have a far better conception of. The extent you persue your assasins may or may not be important to this

No probs, I have also been

No probs, I have also been pretty inactive lately.

I can imagine that managing multiple scenes and timelines like this must be cumbersome, though I've also noticed how this likely will lead us all together again Wink. Looking forward to it.

Well, I officially give up

Well, I officially give up on multi-quotations. Frown

I tried battling with Planewalker about 3 quotes in one post for an eternity, trying all the input formats, adding/removing formatting, etc. I just gave up in the end and broke the post up into 3 seperate ones.

Kudos to Azure for roleplaying a lowered Wisdom score.  Ouch.

Multiple quotes... I just enter them manually.

(quote='name') my quoted text here (/quote)

Replace parentheses with brackets [].

I suspect it has something

I suspect it has something to do with the text transfer between Planewalker and Word. I almost always write my posts in Word, then copy it to the site and preview, then random issues often occur.

Seems like text color might be one the main offenders, because it usually helps if I only copy black text from Word, and then color "manually" at Planewalker. So confusing...

Sorry about the wonky

Sorry about the wonky formatting.

Unfortunately this post had to include both quotes to get the context right, but the text positions apparently ends up looking a bit strange.

It feels as though I'm

It feels as though I'm prolonging the inevitable with this game. It feels as though we as a group are struggling to connect with a common motive and connection to the plot. This sort of conflict is nice in weekly tabletop games, where the pace suits it and you can fill a "what the hell do we do?"  session with something IC. We do not have the post rate to sustain that sort of thing, and while we may have at the very begining of the game, this is no longer the case. I need to seriously rethink how this game is planned and run if we're going to get anything done, because (prior to my untimely departure) we weren't. This is partly because I'm struggling to chalenge the different characters without splitting up the party, which is unsustainable. This is, I admit a rather depressing situation, but I'm going to try and rexamine things, rather than scrap everything just yet. This means that I really need your opinions.

Bruce is plenty willing to

Bruce is plenty willing to help out the rest of the party with their problems. This is the most fun he has had in YEARS.

In character, of course Bruce wants to finish his boat. Out of character, I am still kinda surprised that I actually have it and recognize that moving that part of my character along is something to take care of in the future.

That said, Bruce doesn't have the lower planar connections that the rest of the group has and one of them needs to bring him in to that for him to be a useful contributer rather than just a weapon for them to use. This scuffle with the Ultraloth is a fine way in, we just need to get it off the ground.

The only problem there is, it doesn't seem like we have any cards in our hand with this situation. He is expertly hidden, has an army, and we can't make a useful deal with him. That doesn't leave us with a lot of options, and I think we hit the slump that we did because everyone was waiting for someone else to suggest a plan of action.

Thats just my take on it.

I realize in retrospect that

I realize in retrospect that this might have been the case, and it appears I've suffered a not just as planned moment. Maybe taking that back and rethinking my notes would work? Part of the problem is that it's very difficult to chalenge such a high level group with anything. Magic solves to many problems, and in order to prevent that you need more powerful foes.

I think I'm going to have to

I think I'm going to have to back out. I'm sorry I didn't commit earlier, but I can't stay in good conscience and keep everyone waiting. It's been good.
