Sorcerer's Philosophy

My question is this.

What faction or sect my neutral human sorcerer would fit in best? Sorcerers have the typical outcast background so i would think the free league or anarchists.

Any ideas?Thanx everyone in advance Smiling

Depends on what kind of

Depends on what kind of sorcerer and what kind of bloodline they have.

If your using 4e some suggestions would be: Dragon=Fated Wild Magic=XaosmenCosmic=Signers or GodsmenStorm=Sinkers or Ragers.

If your using Pathfinder some suggestions would be: Aberrant=Bleakers or AnarchistsAbyssal=Sinkers or SensatesArcane=Guvners or CiphersCelestial=Hardheads, Sensates or Mercykillers (Sons of Mercy)Destined=Fated, Athar or GodsmenDraconic=FatedElemental=Sinkers, Primals, or CiphersFey = Anarchists, Xaosmen or IndepsInfernal = Athar or Mercykillers (Sodkillers)Undead = Dustmen

KA has some nice general

KA has some nice general guidelines, but I'd say alignment, race, and class aren't really enough to determine a good fit for faction (although alignment helps to a degree).

I believe KA means Kobold

I believe KA means Kobold Avenger.

You could simply use the pathfinder heritages for sorcerers (or whatever that is) as a guideline to explain why your sorcerer has her/his powers. If you for example saythe character is a descendant of some abyssal creature, you could join the Sinkers, or Sensates.

I don't think there's any

I don't think there's any "one" faction for any given class, really.  I'd say it depends on what you want your character to be.  A sorcerer can fit in with the Harmonium just as easily as he can be an Indep.  If you're playing "by the book" for your character story, I recall that it also says sorcerers don't have any one "school" or "academy" like wizards do.  A lot of any individual sorcerer's philosophy may have to do with who his mentor was -- and a mentor can be from any faction.  So go with what you want to do.

Calmar is right. I'm just a lazy typist sometimes.
