Well, its been ages but I

Well, its been ages but I thought I'd report on how things went, and as I cant find the actual thread Sad I figured Id post things here...

....basically the game was a huge success - me and my girlfriend left the city so the game ended at the end of summer, but it was great fun. All in all we had 10 sessions, with  characters coming and going due to  summer vacations etc. All but 2 players have played in my previous 'classic' planescape campaigns, and they really liked the modern adaption. The 2 new players, my girlfriend and another friend (who is a fan of planescape but never played it) also really liked it.

The party sent most of their time in Sigil - dealing with VICE themes - the original story was to do with terrorists and people  smuggling - the trail lead to Maelstrom, and their Captain didnt let them follow. The next plot was superbike sabatoges at the Modron Speedway in Sigil - turns out the Modrons had paid a local underworld figure to disable the bikes (no deaths) to try and force the speedway to close - the team worked with the Organised Crime Division to bring the underwolrd figure down (a halfling....)

2 of the character then took a holiday to Elysium, both characters were into extreme sports (they did rockclimbing, surfing, dirivng and sailing) and by the end of the session (of which i didnt bother running the actual plot as they were enjoying things), the characters didnt want to leave and I hadnt said a word about entrapment effects - brilliant! The final plot was them acting as freelancers to investigate a disppearance of a reporter in Elysium, which led to redempation, sigil and finally Maelstrom and the home of a devil.

On their time off,one character enjoyed extreme sports, including free running through the spiderwebs (the upper layers above the Hive) - another brough a hugely expensive motorbike (cant remeber the facotry name, but its on the boards here) and spent his free time racing in the lower divisions of the Modron Superbike leagues. Another character (an obessive party goer) eventually worshipped Eliastraee as he liked her and her night clubs (and priestess....). Another got addicted to magic and the last one was establishing himself is the grey area between the law and the police (basically, he played the lead guy fomr the shieldtv show).

So, yeah, great campaign - didnt explore that much of the setting, but their were basically clueless from Earth 2001 and so werent really ready to deal with the magic and stuff out there.....

As to Urban Planescape, I will keep hacking away at it, tho it seems to have died on the forums, which really sucks......I'll keep checking back here, so people, post away....please!!!!!

I'd love to hear if there

I'd love to hear if there was  a sequel to this! and I to miss that the urban planescape boards have died down - if you have anything you wrote up for your game that you'd like to add over there it might kickstart that project back up maybe?
