I noticed that Shad are listed as having a base movement speed of 50' in chapter 2. Does anyone know if this is intended, or is it a typo of 20' (which would be the usual for a small creature)?

It also unbalances them. Shad as written are really good. A bit too good for ECL 0, n fact. In my game, I mandated that my Shad player had to have a 30 ft move speed for balance reasons. I wholeheartedly suggest we make that change official.

In Denizens of the Inner Planes, the PDF that Seraph of Babel and Nemui wrote, their speed is 30 ft.

Hm, I do believe that's a typo, though one that is really old. It should be 30 ft.
Hmmm. I'd always assumed that the 50' movement speed was just because they were fast little tree-dwelling rodentish critters. I suppose it could be a typo. I'd be more willing to think it was intentional if they had an LA, but they're the only new race in the PSCS without one.
