Rogue seeks emplyment

I've got a Tiefling rogue I'm dying to play. If anyone has a spot for him in a 2nd Ed. PBeM, please lemme know.

If it's a Planescape setting, BIG BONUS!!

If not, lemme know anyway. Eye-wink

Here's his char. sheet:Spec's Character Sheet

I don't know how many people will be running AD&D campaigns nowadays... it's an edition and a half behind and all. of course, I refuse to play any edition that has fractions in it's title, so there must be someone out there who doesn't like odd numbers...

They run all the time on Mass. In fact I'm running a PS one myself. I just don't see the logic in running a character in my own PBeM.

point well taken. back when I just started playing, my friends and I always let whoever was DM have a charactor. it sucked horribly, but since we were noobs, we didn't realize.

Mass?

On the other hand I've been edging towards running a pbem soon - but it'd be in 3rd so... Sad

Mass = http://www.planetadnd.com/pbmb2/modules.php?name=Forums

And aye, PBeM = Play By eMail

Although I should actually say I'm looking, more specifically, for a PBMB (Play By Message Board). My PS game I'm currently running's on the Mass boards "Planescape: Sigil & Beyond (2nd E)" is the titled thread towards the bottom of the games list. Lots of 3E games played there as well, for you 3E'ers (although I've pretty much got the only PS game going).

In our past games (the real life kind) our DM always played a character as well, although they were neutral in any decision-making. They were pretty much just an extra sword (or knife, or whatever) for battles.

My current DM has one (Nisha) who is there to fill an empty skill slot (thief) and as a sort of goofy, comic relief and sweet NPC that everyone likes. She doesn't speak up on decisions much - but she's great to get people moving if we lag behind. (Which we don't often.) He's focused so much on her poersonality whenever she's around that he's actually forgotten to level her - so it's not like he's at risk of having the uber-NPC.

Nisha's an NPC? I just assumed she was run by one of the players...

NPC Smiling Everyone else (Clueless, Tristol, Toras, FyreHowl, Florian, the seccubus, and the soon to be revealed secubbus replacement) is a PC.

yeah. that's the problem my group hit. the NPC tends to be just an extra sword. nisha sounds different though. like an actually well thought out NPC.
