Rogue Modrons and Souls

Ive heard that Rogue modrons dont usualy become PEtitionars... are they eligible for Divine ascension(WITHOUT returning to the modron fold and becoming the next primus)

or otherwise undergoing "Transcendent experiences.

I would assume so. One theory is that rogue modrons are actually larval Primuses; eventually they could evolve into a new Primus and form rival modron collectives of their own.

Yes; this seems correct. I like how the rogue modrons may, at least in the short term, increase entropy, though there is the possibility of greater ultimate order.

oh another question on Rogue modrons, very basic but important.

In the actualy moment of becoming rogue... any idea how they Make it to sigil?

A lot of their memorys are now incomprehensible their naked, and a lot of their former brethren want them dead.

Re: Rogue Modrons and Souls

A modron that goes rogue probably knows immediately that his link with the race has been disrupted, and that this is dangerous. It may have gone rogue while alone, on a trip away from Mechanus: this is, in fact, the most likely scenario, since modrons in the presence of other modrons or surrounded by the Clockwork Nirvana will have protections against instabilities that might cause going rogue.

One that goes rogue while on Mechanus will probably realize that it is in a dangerous spot and needs to leave if it values its own safety. If it doesn't, it won't become a player character because it's not likely to survive for long! There may be plenty of modrons who go rogue, realize this, and decide to commit a quick suicide in the hopes that their energy gets restored to the communal pool, or out of fear of doing something that would harm the cause of Order. But those aren't interesting, so we tell stories about the ones that go rogue and survive by having an exit visa, or enough money to get out, or know where a convenient portal is, or so forth.
