Rilmani Planetouched?

I just had a thought....Tanar'ri and Baatezu and all sorts of Celestials can have offspring with humans (or...player races in general) what about the Rilmani? What if they had to for the good of the balance with all these Aasimar and tiefers running about?

What kind of stats do you think they'd get? And would they have those pinpoint eyes?

*blink*
You know... I never even *thought* about that.
I know modrons are out of the question b/c of how they're physically constructed. Ditto for sladdi considering their restrictions to the Spawning Stone... but rilmani... should be able to as far as I know.

They might not *want* to just b/c an offspring that is only half rilmani might not be as controllable or useful for their stealthy methods - but... yeah. Far as I know, they should.

Rule of Threes! Laughing out loud
it would definately be a rarity, but i could see some frustrated Rilmani making a last-ditch effort with a certain area of the planes.

The tuladhara are Rilmani planetouched. I've been using them for years, and thinking they were awesome.

Glad you like the tuladhara. Out of curiosity, what is it you like about them? I was always afraid they were filling a niche that wasn't there. But then, that's how I feel about most plane-touched Eye-wink

I think it's the idea of playing a character who has neutrality and balance literally in his blood.

A bit of trivia: The name "tuladhara" comes from a Sanskrit word having to do with balance.

(The reason I know this is because I'm the one who came up with the name in the first place--along with most of the other racial characteristics (stat adjustments, resistances, etc.). I'd made the tuladhara up on my own a while back, and then, IIRC, the discussion of true neutral planetouched came up on the City of Doors mIRC channel, and I brought up my concept of the tuladhara there and discussed it with MacIntyre, a CODI member who used to be active on the Planescape lists, and he liked it and brought it to the team then working on PS3E. And that's how the tuladhara came to be--probably my biggest claim to fame in PS3E so far. Eye-wink )

[Edited because I'd written that the initial discussion took place on the old City of Doors forum, but on second thought I think it was actually on the mIRC channel...not that it really matters one way or the other.]
