I originally posted this on ENWorld, since I did not think Planewalker.com had a forum (either I am blind, or the link to it is less than obvious). Anyways, the released PDF of Chapter 6 has background graphics that make it very painful for me to see the text. I attached an image over there to show what I meant (which I don't think I can do here), and another poster stated that he didn't have nearly as much of a problem with contrast as I did. So, it could be a number of things - version of Acrobat/Reader/whatever else, monitor settings, GPU settings, etc.
I'd like to see a version of the PDF with no background graphics. This should take all of 30 seconds to make, so I don't feel as if my request is particularly unreasonable. No offense to whoever did the interior art, but I really like being able to read the text without my eyes popping out of my head. Thank you.
I personally had no trouble reading the PDF using Reader 6, but monitor colour gamuts vary quite a lot and this is undoubtedly the source of the problem. People also have different tolerances for reading distractions, I've noticed.
I'm sure the PSCS people will help you out shortly.
Also, you can post images within posts here by embedding a link to an image-storage site. See the BBCode instructions in the composition panel.
