Today I got a hold of 4 of the old Partha Planescape minis, one I know is the lady of pain. Another is a Bariaur named Karris the Indep, also I have Lord Pazrael (a weird vulture demon thingy) as well as Factol Rhys. Can anyone explain to me the details of these characters. I do not have the Planescape boxset or any of the original expansions, though I am trying to find them. So all the details you can give me would be great, thanks.
PS I also got the Lady of Pain Badge Smiling

I'm not, I just would like more information as to who they are, I have gathered that the Factol is simply the head of her Faction, though I do not know what faction that is, and Lord Pazrael is some kind of Demon/Devil General or some such.

Factol Rhys: Rhys is the creepy creepy creepy ex-factol of the Transcendant Order otherwise known as the Ciphers. As the highest of the Ciphers, Rhys has an intimate and nearly complete connection to the mysterious force the Ciphers call the Cadence of the planes. She moves with preternatural foreknowledge, every step, breath, action deliberate. She rarely speaks, but when she chooses to speak everyone around listens to her words. Her battle prowess and impossible reflexes make her a formidable opponent. At one point she foiled an assassination attempt by stepping out of the way of a crossbow bolt and catching the projectile without even turning around. Since the ejection of the Ciphers, and all factions, from the City of Doors, Rhys has continued to act as an important person in the city as Head Chairwoman of the Sigil Advisory Council.

Lord Pazrael: Pazrael is a tanar'ri lord of Torremor an Abyssal realm of shrieking winds and impossible chasms. He appears as a large Vrock-like demon and is prone to shifts of mood. At one moment he is cold and calculating and at others he descends upon hapless passerbys and rips them into shreds simply for the joy it causes him. Pazrael is wary, almost paranoidly so, of Graz'zt and so has quite a few spies watching the other demonlord at all times (Graz'zt knows this and is always using these spies to his own purposes).

Sweet, now I wish my LGS had Graz'zt, actually he may somewhere with the rest of the figures he hasn't priced yet. Anyways, thanks a lot. I take it that Rhys is a tiefling? Anyways, anyone know anything about Karris the Indep.
Also once I begin playing we will play before the ejection of the factions, I think they add a lot to Sigil (how do you pronounce that?)

Sigil: "Si - gull", where the Si- is pronounced much like the ci- in city, and the -gil is pronounced like gull. (Si-jell, or sid-jell is not the correct prnounciation.)

I wish i knew more about the Karris character, but I'll see what I can fish up for you. Rhys is a tiefling, yes.

Well no matter what he will make an excellent Bariaur for whatever purpose, I also just got the Lady painted up she looks great. I had no painting reference other than a basic description of her with flowing brown robes and glimering blades surrounding her face, so painted her that way and used a crimson colour for details. I also found out that my store owner also has Lord Graz'zt which he is going to hold for me.
I always had an itch to play planescape, but never the resources. Now I find a friend of mines husband has the box set at least, I find all the minis, and I am half way through building a modular Sigil.
Oh yeh, this will be the best campaign ever.

I'm not sure that Karris was actually written up in any form in Planescape. All I know for sure about him is that he is pictured in the Free League write up in the Players Guide to the Planes from the original boxed set and that he also has a quote attributed to him there. I looked over In the Cage, the Factol's Manifesto, and Uncaged, but could find nothing.

Well I do highly appreciate your guys help. I noiced these Parthas tend to be smaller than my smallest 25 mm, I wonder if they are 23mm or so. Oh well, he just will be a very small Bariuar. It just sucks that the Lady is so short. Anyways, thanks again, if you find anything else let me know, now all I have to do is finish painting and gather up a group of players.

Ral Partha minis still frequently turn up on eBay.
IMO they are the best miniatures that RP produced - very high quality and very true to the PS artwork.
There is a full list of the range on the Stuff of Legends website (which catalogs OOP mins) at http://www.solegends.com. RP figures were true 25mm scale most minis tended towards 27mm until finally every moved to Game Workshops 'Heroic' scale, 30mm.

In relation to the four figures you got, I believe the Demon Aerial Prince, Pazrael, was covered in WOTC's web expansion download to the BOVD in 3E.
