Hello cutters!!!i remember reading a line or two in what i think is a planescape module mentioning Sigil's factions and categorizing them like factions of Order, factions of Self etc etc.
Now i think it's Faction War but i could be wrong.Is anyone able to enlighten me on this?Thank you

I think you are reffering to this http://www.shadowland.org/Planescape/factions.html but it's not what i'm looking for.
What i remember is that the factions were categorized as Factions of Order, Self and Entropy(just these 3)and i'm pretty sure it was in 2e material...

I'm pretty sure that isn't where I picked up my info. Of course, since I can't definitively remember my source, I can't be certain
Regardless, aside from the obvious few (like the Triad of Order) I always felt that a few of these groupings seemed a little forced, so I never really used them.
If you don't mind me asking; are you asking because you plan to use this information in some way; or are you just curious?
If you plan to use it, may I ask how? (I am curious)

I vaguely remember it too. I don't remember the source but I think they were the following:
**The Triad of Order
Guvners, Harmonium, Mercykillers
**The Triad of Despair
Bleak Cabal, Doomguard, Dustmen
**Triad of the Spirit
Sensates, Ciphers, Xaositects
**Triad of the Self
Godsmen, Fated, Signers
**Triad of Independence
Athar, Free League, Anarchists
Although I would think the Xaositects might fit better in the "triad of independence" but then some additional shuffling would be needed
