Quasielemental Planes

The Quasi-elemental Planes 3.5 article groups them into Yin and Yang, but I think it has them backwards. The name Yin is used for the negative planes and Yang is used for the positive planes.

But it should be the reverse. Yin is light and heat, and active. Yang is dark and coolness, and passive.

Yin is passive and yang is active.

Ack, how did I get that confused? I feel dumb.

But on the other hand,

Quote:
Yang stands for destruction; Yin stands for conservation. Yang brings about disintegration; Yin gives shape to things.

which is probably the source of my confusion.
