The orientation thread has been pushed down to the second page, but it's still here.

Clueless, mind stickying it so that new players can find it?

So, a), hi folks, I'm new, and

b) here's a colorversion of the Lady's pic I send you, Clueless
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/remainaery/lady-color.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/remainaery/barbed-weirdness.jpg That's another one that's remotely planescape-related, but not really, at least I have no real idea what it's supposed to be. I just have that freaky thing going for guys with tail. Eh. Maybe you have some use for that one. At least I personally think the colors are funny.

At any rate, I felt a little weird just giving you my "garbage" and, hm, so to say hand-me-downs, so I made a little extra -
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/remainaery/dabus-color.jpg
It's a Dabus!
(Sadly, I just realized they have their ears in the usual spot when I took a look at Terlizzi's image of Fell AFTER I did this. Naturally. M'eh. Maybe no one will notice.)

(Should I actually be posting that stuff here? Well, if not, remove it or whatever and I'll send you another mail, but since I'm an attention whore, I like forum showcasing! Hah!)

I'm not gonna stop you - feedback is what the forum is for -and I'm a little too busy looking at a tiefer to even think of objecting... *GRIN* To me it looks like a back-alley deal in Sigil - very very nice.

Then, I think the two of us will get along just fine.
(Oh my god, I just spotted the smilie. Hey, that means I can pretty much pinpoint this picture to be a part of my smilie-phase. Wow.)
Back-alley deal... didn't think of that one yet. There's just... so much tail... in the way. And it's totally anatomically challenged. But... I had fun with the color. Yeah.

Anyway, that's fine then, I was just worried about spamming the thread and making it confusing (and wondering if their might be another thread better suited for the stuff), but I guess since you keep it all bundled up in the first post... yeah.

Yeah, for a while, first several months of last year, I thought it was a funny idea to put smilies in all of my pictures and see how many people would find them.
It actually *was* funny.
(Sometimes rather hidden in plain sight, not... so hidden at all, like here, sometimes not so much, like this one - hint: left half.)
I guess that tail-guy has the most well-hidden smilie of them all - in plain sight!
Oh, I'm a genius. GENIUS, I say. *ahem*

Anyway, enough offtopic-stuff, I shall take a look at the list for open contributions and maybe wipe up something new, I guess I could do a scenery.
Hm, any specific hints?
Maybe I'll just take that barscene ... then again, ouh, time.

I'm currently at work - so can't easily hit dA without raising some eyebrows... but soon as I get the chance I'll look. Any particular inclinations for what you want to be inspired by? Aka - landscapes, city scenes, characters or other things?

Mostly characters, fight scenes and so on, monsters too. I'm not very good with landscapes as you can see in my gallery Sticking out tongue. Anyways, I'll be without internet the next couple of days, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested ^^. btw, sorry for my english :-S!

*steals a few moments on break to go look at dA anyway* Wow! Hey, looks like you've figured out how to do with watercolor what I *want* to do. How did you get that sort of 'dark' look in watercolor media? I've had far too much trouble trying to pull that off (specifically looking at the Scarecrow pic).

Hmmm in that case - if you see the first post of this thread, it lists out characters and other known needs that we have.

If you're good with action scenes - I would suggest looking at the spell and feat image needs first as those should have a lot of action in them. You're the first artist to list action scenes as an interest, and I know how hard they can be.

As usual - the characters can be found here: /downloads/products/released.php
And chapters 4 and 5 are the ones with the feats, skills, and spells.

ok, so I should be drawing by monday, I'll send you a PM or something to tell you what I'm gonna draw. I've seen a Harmonium listed somewhere (single characters of each faction, I think), I love them, so it could be my first choice ^^. anyway, feats are cool to draw too.

The dark effect on the Scarecrow pic is thanx to inks more than watercolours. I use to mix both of them to get the colour scheme.

See u around in two days!!!!

I think some of those feats are Harmonium feats (two for the price of one!) Eye-wink

And of course if you really like the Harmonium I may tap you for the Ortho project then too once we get to the art stage.

Enjoy the weekend!

Hi there!! I'm at home again ^^.
I'll try my best with the Harmonium, and the Dustmen by now.
I want to draw the following feats and skills too: entopic Blow, Dead Truce, Lockdown and Seasoned Officer. I'll draw more of them later.
I haven't much free time right now, but I'll draw as fast as I can ^^

See u soon!!

You should definitely try to get this awesome picture of the multiverse by a man called zen79 into the PSCS. Smiling

(At least I hope that would even be possible, since it is a collage made from various Planescape and other D&D books... Shocked )

The problem is that it is a collage. Using the faction images is already cutting a real fine line for our restrictions on plagarism from WotC owned resources, so I would prefer not to use collages from already published materials.

Well, I still have that thing in the making:
Click me, I'm something that looks like a bad 1990's airbrush SciFi thing
(fear the return of the rear-shot)

It's something I started when expanding that one pic you liked a lot back then, clueless. The main idea here was for me to practice a "foldable" image that spans both front and back of a print. Even though there's no print. But still.
I wanted to put this up as a "surprise" of sorts, but since I dunno when I'll get to finish it, I'll at least let you know how far I've come.

Let's see, maybe I check the list again for something a little smaller and less time-consuming.

Glad to have you guys aboard! I'm wrapping up the prestige class review right now so that'll be up shortly with more options for action shots Smiling

And welcome back Bunny!! I've been eavesdropping on LJ, so I'm glad to see you're back and holding up Smiling

And of course I enjoyed the tiefer eyecandy. Eye-wink Really, I was starting to worry they only came in female flavour given the domination of previous artwork by the femme sort. Honestly, I love getting to see works in the making - it lets me see the growth of the image, and gives insight into the processes used to make it. I'm one of those wierdos who finds looking at quick gesture sketches one of the most entertaining things in the world.

I've updated the list with claims from Satyr and Thallin (if you're still with us!)

Anyone else wanting to lay claim to the request list?

Remember - that list is what we currently know we need and is the best way to make sure that I know what I should keep an eye out for. If you're looking for something to do - make your claim! If something is currently listed as in progress that you know ought to be listed as done - tug on my tail to make sure I have the copy of your work that you want me to use.

Umm, I've tried to claim seven artworks almost a year ago as you can see in my post on the top of this page for April last year(two are unfortunately claimed by Thallin now).

I'm claiming these for the pictures of factioneers (done by Squaff, edited by me):

Athar factioneers
Doomguard factioneer
Revolutionary League factioneer
Sodkiller factioneer
Xaositect factioneer

Harmonium and Dustman were also done, but were left unclaimed, I've sent you a private message and an email almost a year ago. I didn't know I had to claim them publicly Sad .
I'm not trying to stress you or anything I'm just a bit sad, maybe I was a bit un-specific about those claims before.

EDIT
I've just entered all those as an artwork article, so it might appear in the articles subforum soon.

I haven't posted for a while because I'm currently not in a Planescape-ish mood, but I'm lurking the forums from time to time. I shouldn't have been so lazy.

More than likely I just entirely missed them. Which I apologize for profusely. This last year has seen me lose a job, gain a new job and generally have my life thrown to the winds. So it's entirely my fault not yours. I'm going to mark those as claimed / done. (Honestly, I thought I had already marked them as claimed/done - apparently my brain had this month of "oh, all is well" where everything I needed to do went to /dev/null.)

Where I get duplicates, what I'll do is use the duplicate where they best fit for illustration of prestige classes, or relevant sections in descriptions of areas of Sigil or the like. I'm not going to waste anyone's work on it. I believe I have your emailed copies still - but just in case: [REDACTED] is guaranteed to arrive to me.

edit: found them - they're sitting right in my artwork folder where they should be

As a checkup, I should be expecting works in from: princessbunny, Xaos Bob, Unski, john, Satyr

I've heard from artists: Zerdal or Draigon - But haven't heard yet what they want to do, be it stuff they want to just toss in the hat or things to claim from the list.

Have you got black and white ones?
I could clean those to look cleaner than a simple black and white(gray) versions. My photochopping skills got much better in the last year.

And I wanted to announce that I myself am getting back to drawing so I might claim a picture or two. I'd like to do something mildly erotic or maybe even something different, horrifically psychedelic but not too extreme(RK Post style).

And thank you Clueless for getting things done quickly, I'd also like to apologize to Thallin for not being clear in my last year post.

Sure! I'll put the ones I have from you (blank and white and colorized versions) on hold pending updated versions. No reason to keep better stuff out at this stage. Smiling As for some of the more interesting works - I'd suggest looking at the spell list or perhaps feat list. There's also the new prestige classes that could definitely use some attention. Rule-of-Three and A Very Large Dragon

My gallery- [http://razielart.deviantart.com/]

I like rule-of-three (I don't think he's ever been pictured), and I have an idea for A Very Large Dragon.

This where the Dragon goes?

I just finished the Very Large Dragon. I assume I'm supposed to put the link up here. http://razielart.deviantart.com/art/One-Very-Large-Dragon-82603439

I made him with the idea that he would be put to the side or top of the page, or that he would be cropped to just his face and his lun- I mean interviewer. Yeah. Interviewer.

BTW- if ever Modrons are needed, let me know. I miss their surreal orderliness.

I might be interested in making a gate town map, but:

1) I doubt I can do anything good in black and white. Does colour work?

2) These are maps over whole cities, not just parts, correct? I haven't done anything like that before, but I'm up for trying.

3) I can't draw, but I can use Photoshop. That means that we are talking photo-realism like this: http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=10228&PN=2
Is that something you're interested in at all?

I'd like to help, but I'm not sure if I *can*. But if the few skills I have in this area are usable, I'll put them to use. Smiling

Yeah, I'm not dead. Yet.
I managed to work on this bugger a little
(click thumbnail for bigger pic)

I changed the concept somewhat. Not sure whether I like it or not. The Sigil-Cut-Out looks somewhat cramped and too narrow. Hm. Well, I'll see what I can do about that. Maybe I can manage to be done before they take away Planescape for a D&D 4E reincarnation... d'oh, time. Sheesh.

EDIT: Oh, and - here's one of the DM's Dark Dice (Chapter 9 stuff).
I know, I know. I didn't claim it. It's still open. So consider it claimed and done. I'll drop off a higher res one to your mail account the other day, clueless. Cheers!

This thread is ages old,

This thread is ages old, but I guess with PS4e coming out, it needs to be revisited!  Are you looking for new art for the new edition?  Or anything to be picked up?

If so, you can see my work at http://kaitou-kage.deviantart.com/ -- I'm actually working on a Planescape-based comic, but I have several other Planescape-based pieces.  The main thing, though, is my style may be better suited for 1st edition Exalted than for Planescape anything.  Ah well.  If you need anything, let me know.
