Possible Article: The Inner Planes and the Cosmic Game

What do elemental beings think of the shifting vagaries of belief?

What vision do they have for the Multiverse? Supremacy of their element over all others? Balance/Harmony of elemental forces?

Would elementals accept the victory of one alignment over the others, or would they intervene at some point? There are elementals of Law and Chaos after all.

What resources do the inner planes have that extraplanar exemplars might desire? Are fiends and celestials wheeling and dealing in these parts?

Is the Plane of Shadow a tilting of the Inner Planes toward Evil?

What forces lurk in the Positive and Negative planes?

Elemental cults might be interesting. I see them being neutral, as to be good or evil (or too lawful or chaotic) might lead them toward the extraplanar exemplars and away from the goals of the elements.

I see the major 4 elemental Lords being less concerned about open warfare than maintaining a balance. In this they tolerate but are wary of the Elemental Princes of Good and Evil, as well as the lawful/chaotic elementals.

I saw wonder if there will come a time when the elemental lords tire of the the Alignment War and how it continually threatens reality.
