Planewalker Posters?

In connection to another thread I started about suggestions for a Session I am running at a convention. Are there any planewalker site posters around that I could post up on walls? If not and I assume there isn't would someone be willing to possibly whip up 1 or 2 that I could print out or flyers I could have lying around for the convention to promote the site here?

Basically anything as long as the website address here is prominant and I think the logo is cool but obviously I have no little graphic design skill or I would do this myself. I just don't want them to look too crappy like my designed in word ones would though I will go that route if I have to.

Anyway I thought I would toss that out there I would love to do what I can to help grow the community here.

Thanks for the offer, bonemage. I'm working on it. I have a poster/pamphlet for my Portalseeker.com site (which is affiliated with Planewalker), and I'll do something similar for us here.

OK, here's the pamphlet for Planewalker. If anyone else wants to use it for promotional purposes, PM me and I'll tell you where the big hi-rez files are located. Spread the word, bashers.

Yeah wow I haven't printed them up yet but I can already tell they are awesome. Also I tossed you another PM about the vertical logo thing and whether or not you want me to advertise your site as well.

Cheers and thanks one more time. Laughing out loud

Thanks. I had fun doing this. I use Photoshop CS, but it can be done in v6 or v7. Fonts I can't remember off-hand, but I think it was Caslon Antique with some strange hermetic typeface for the symbols. The effect was not very difficult to create, simply find a nice tan shade, fill the page, cut out the edges with the lasso tool (make them look like worn paper), cut the lasso'd part out, then apply a grunge brush of some kind to the edges. I also used the burn tool to darken the edges with a big brush and some transparency 30%. The main graphic is the one you see at the top of this page every day. Smiling The squiggles were provided by Enzo from an unknown source. Finally, I added a drop shadow to the page and layered a very transparent cloud pattern overlay to give it some unevenness. Umm, maybe some more stuff but I can't remember it all now through the drink-haze. When I do art I work sloppy.

I'm afraid I don't have time for a tutorial right now, but I can maybe post the PSD file somewhere over the weekend.

Edit: the fonts were Caslon Antique, Magna Veritas and Agathodaimon for the symbols.
