Planescape: The Great Modron March PBeM recruiting (2E AD&am

"On a regular schedule, the Great Modron March spills out of Mechanus
and the lawful automatons file their way around the Great Ring. No one
knows why they do it, but everyone stays out of their way - because
when the modrons march, they'll walk right over a berk who doesn't
know enough to move aside. But this March has started decades before
it was supposed to begin, and that's even more of a mystery. Caught
unprepared the planes shudder under the modrons' collective footsteps
- and even the modrons themselves seem a little out of sorts."

New to PBeMing, I've decided to just get on with it and thrust myself
into the phenomenon (of course I've spent over a month reading and
getting ready for it, although I may be a bit out of sorts so please
be gentle... Eye-wink. There will be (6) character slots. All information
can be found on the corresponding website. Check there for remaining
character slots. If you're familiar with The Great Modron March
campaign, please do not apply.

Much obliged.

Here's a bit more info.:
==============================================

1. What game are you running (D&D, CoC, Palladium, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)?

D&D 2nd Ed.

2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "ShadowRun" or "Boot Hill")? When and where will the game be set?

Planescape setting

3. How many Players are you looking for?

There will be 6 players.

4. What's the gaming medium (PBMB, chat, e-mail etc.)?

A combination of email, forums & PM.

5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?

Characters will start at the young age of lvl 1.

6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?

Starting wealth will be determined by a roll of a d20 using a wealth table of the DM's own design. It is possible to start out average to very wealthy (for lvl 1 characters).

7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'character kits' and/or homebrewed classes?

Any races classes save for rogue modrons. The only actual rule is they cannot be god-like creatures, such as dragons.

8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Exotic or Humanoid' races or species?

Any races found in available kits. Homebrewed characters will need my inspection before being ok'ed.

9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores?

Stats will start at 0. Players will be given 78 points to distribute among their stats (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA). Afterwards they may factor in character bonuses. No stats can exceed their racial limit.

10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?

Any non-evil alignment.

11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?

Multi-classing is allowed.

12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system?

Players will do all attack/damage/save rolls. The DM will perform all background rolls. Any other rolls for the players will be instructed by the DM.

13. Are there any homebrewed rules or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about?

The game will be flexible allowing variations from the official rules to improvisation.

14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)?

I'd much prefer some kind of background to enrich the roleplaying of the game. But it doesn't need to be a novel.

15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above?

It's a module, so a lot of roleplaying, thinking & puzzle solving with a fair share of battles. It's Planescape so expect a lot of RPing.

16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters?
As stated above all players can use any books that are actual 2nd ed reference books, made by TSR. Except the psionics handbook.

You can use any official D&D resources you wish.

Go to Gamers PBeM Homepage for all the details.

Update: Only need 2 more players.

Have fighter, pally, thief, & mage.

Need a healer. And how about a female character? Diversity is good. Eye-wink

Trying to find your email address, to submit a character. Look for blooddancer on Yahoo or InfernalistGamer on AOL/AIM.

You can get to the game board by going to http://www.planetadnd.com/pbmb2/modules.php?name=Forums and scrolling down to the "Planescape: Sigil & Beyond (2nd E)" thread, or you can get there directly at http://www.planetadnd.com/pbmb2/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f...

My email's [REDACTED]

PS- We got a wiz/priest of Hades, so last class can be anything you want, although a warrior-type class would probably create the most balanced party.
