I had a big backlog of drawings...is it annoying anyone that I'm posting all at once? If so, I'll wait longer inbetween Laughing out loud

Here's some PS race pictures. Again, I drew some of them at work, so they may be a little slantish.

Tiefling

Githzerai (which might be a githyanki Laughing out loud)

Githyanki (which might be a githzerai)

Fire Gensai

Earth Gensai

Drow (looks like a surgical ninja XD)

Bariaur

Air Gensai (I didn't really know what to do with the clothes. I'm not too impressed by this one.)

As always, lemme know what you think! If you have any critiques, I'd love to hear them Smiling

Well, you have me one this one, these are pretty good. I just have one comment, you should make the Gensai more like their element....... of course when their colored in they should look different.

These are great, particulalry the bariaur! I love the cartoonish style, though I'm not sure if *everyone* should have such a friendly smile on...

BTW, it's genasi, not gensai. Smiling

Yeah, when I have them colored, I'm definately going to try and bring that out (like color the earth one to look facet-ey, the water one to be a little drippy, so on and so forth Laughing out loud) in a sketch like this, I don't want to commit to any lines inside the form yet, so I leave it pretty basic Laughing out loud

Barring things like extra legs, they all look like basically the same girl to me, just in different outfits.

I've noticed that too - honestly the only thing I have any issues with is that it seems to be the same face on each of them. The clothes, and poses are wonderful, and each of them has a *very* good grasp of the line of the figure, so all of them look very natural as opposed to stiffly posed. But the faces are each the same.

Maybe they're all the same person. Maybe she's an Anarchist, or a Chameleon.

*blush* i have a habit of doing that. Part of why i wanted to do so many was trying to do different expressions, but i do not have the expression mastery of DiTerzelli....

It's hard to practive with larger fully body pictures in my experience becaiuse what makes one face different from another is a tiny little mm of ink. Maybe do a series of pics from the shoulders up, larger, just for the practice?

Here some tips I hope you would find usefull:

The best practise is tp draw different faces and expressions from real life, take a good look at people, expecially their minor oddity's what makes them unique, how their eyebrows, eyes, mouth and even their hands and feet move when they talk. I also noticed you only draw happy girls, try more diversity, not only in gender, but make some of them sad, tired, scared or any random emotion. And don't let them just pose, give them some activities, it makes the pic a lot more interesting. Also,if you've got some spare time, try experimenting with different drawing styles, it may takes some practice, but the reward is great. Anime is meaby a nice and easy way to draw things, but it quickly lacks difercity and emotion. But anyway, keep practicing, with your productivity, creativity and enthousiasm things can turn up really good.

i've taken a fair share of art classes, so ican do the human form just fine along with faces and what not, it's just learning how to incorprate that knowledge into what i do now Laughing out loud When I do the first few sketches of a charachter, they are all very static and similar. i like to make sure i can draw hair, clothes etc consistently before i start on sction and whatnot Laughing out loud

once i have that down, i do experiment. i haven't liked what happened so far with that which is why they're not up here Laughing out loud

also, these are still in the "rough draft" stage. they haven't been totally inked yet....well except for the ones i drew at work. those i didn't use pencil on...so they're staying as is Laughing out loud

And now with the Xaositec Spring Line it's Farrow!!! Look at the poise, the grace, the live Infernal Wombats glued right onto his skin! Can you believe it Sally?

Oh no Fred, it's just marvelous! And now here's Farrow again with the MercyKiller swimsuit line! Better watch out ladies, those spikes and plates sure can pinch!

And darlings... this must be the new "True Death" line direct from the Mortuary! Just look at the lack of emotive interplay between the colours of Farrow's purplish nightgown -- it's dreary and dull. Everything we've come to expect from the Dustmen.

The Dustmen don't "do" pictures... Such images threaten to take away their souls before True Death Laughing out loud.
