let me start ya off with a guy i played for a few years.

" Berks have all sorts of tales to tell, hell many are even good ones. Mine's more of the continuation of a tragedy. it started years ago with my father. He was a singer on a deadmagic Prime world called, how creative, 'Earth." He was known as The Crying Man, and was quite famous. While travelling to a performance he ran afoul of my namesakes. A Pair of scientists who perfected a planar gate generator. The two of them, my father and Quinn's ex-lover were dragged into the vortex. They spent years travelling alternate Primes and the Outer Planes before the real tragedies began. Old Arturo took a bullet to save the rest, Wade- Quinn's old lover, was taken by a multiplanar nation of orcs, Quinn lost and found a brother but they were both lost to the planes... finally my father was seperated from his new companions and ended up here in Sigil.
He took a while to adjust to the realities of the planes, magic and the Powers. In the end my father resigned himself to performing in a tavern. He met my mother, and settled down.
So here I am, for the past 5 years I've travelled with one group after another. i've one goal, to find my father's homeworld and take him back. Me? Hell I love this life, the adventure, the noble deeds, the riches."
