Outsider Forms

I don't mean to criticize the "physical" forms of the outsiders, as I know that they are partially mythologically and partially psychologically based aesthetically (lots of adverbs). However, I do wonder whether a set of planes of existence based on abstract concepts would really contain such concrete entities and vistas. I also understand that that would make interaction much more difficult, and this is a game, but surely there must be a way to accomplish both greater verisimilitude and greater enjoyment? Does anyone agree? Or if you disagree, I would love to read your opinions.

Thank you!

Well, there are some less concrete ones - the greater and lesser incarnates, the light aasimon, and the lantern archons, for example. Eladrins all have elemental forms that are as much their "true selves" as their humanoid ones.
