I am of the firm belief that anyone who judges another based solely on their beliefs does not belong in a fantasy roleplaying game, let alone one with open enrollment. Personal views should be just that.

no offense meant to anybody particularly, but i find it highly annoying that only when the game starts or is declared full, people finally show up asking if they can play, why did nobody bother to get a seat on this ride beforehand? and wait it out just like the rest of us?...

Thank you once more. Now then ... I have a small question. My character speaks Common. Can he understand the Planar Trade? Maybe I should change Common to Planar Trade? Because otherwise our characters won't be able to communicate. Actually I think it's up to DM. So-o-o, maybe DM is the one who should change this bit of my charsheet? I can't be sure in characters background anyway.)) Styx and stuff.)

normally, planar common/ trade is the same for ease of reference as regular common, but as the DM, just to be sure...
its a difference of pronunciation, but still the same lang., like hillbillies out of nowhere compared to city slickers:D

Asking where we can find other clueless might work I would say yes, go and ask.
I still think that they may know something about us. How do they know we are amnesic? We saw an obelisk looking as if it had fallen from the sky - what if we did as well? So I suggest to ask them if they knew how we get here.
