Greeting all. In my 2E DnD game, I have a Speciality Priest of Thoth and he is wishing to become a high priest of thoth as well as finding the three books of all wisdom that thoth has. I read a fan created 'book' if you will about how he searched everywhere and finally found it; But, (there is always a but, isn't there?) he couldn't leave. Does anyone know of this 'book' can be found? I thought is was here, but, I was wrong. Plus, anyone know how one goes about becoming a high priest of thoth as I have no dang-blasted clue.

k, thanks clueless. The 'book' was a diary about how one prime (?) went about finding the library. Anyone have any help?

Many thanks, simmo. That is exactly what I was looking for. My thank to you all who posted. I hope to have it placed into my 2E campaign rather soon. I hope to post some of my 2E spells that fit the Planescape setting soon, too.
Probably has to do with the Library of Thoth (which I think is in the Outlands) where just about every book you can think of resides - and yeah, you *can* get stuck there.
I don't recall the details though - maybe someone else does?
