Nanowrimo Projects: Anyone else in on this month?

I'm not sure if anyone else is going to be in for Nanowrimo this month, but I'm planning on taking a shot at it myself this year. Is anyone else? I haven't put together a contest as of late b/c it's a touch late notice - but if enough people raise their hands we can certainly get a contest rolling.

*listens to the crickets chirp*

Hm.
I need to go kidnap some people from other forums.

As I said at WotC, there's been movement with some of my ideas, but nothing more than that.

I'll likely see what next week brings before I can say for definite.

I don't post much here, but I lurk quite often and I felt the need to reply to this Eye-wink

I'd very much like to take part but unfortunately college sucks up most of my time and leaves me very little motivation to write anything that isn't due the next day Sticking out tongue However, I do have about 30 pages of campaign notes (planescape-ish but with a more technologically advanced environment and far more campaign setting neutral storytelling style) that I've been dying to write up in story format so if I do make any progress I wouldn't mind sharing and seeing what others think of it.

I'm horrible at keeping such commitments though, so I'd like to submit a "maybe if life permits it" type of answer Smiling

(What type of requirements must the material meet, though? Are there any rules I should know about ahead of time?)

I'm not planning on Nanowrimo per se, but I have a page or so to finish on my "magnum opus" (ha!) which, coupled with the illustrations I hope to steal from a friend, will count as my November writing effort.

Greets Eye-wink.

And as the day has progressed, I actually found some time to work through some ideas I had previously.

I'll know more by the weekend.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; November has to be one of the worst months to do NaNoWriMo. I still have plans for an epic Planescape trilogy, but I don't ever forsee having time in November with which to write. Now, if we had a PlaWaNoWriMo in say July, I'd be game for that.
