Uh... Way of the Sod-killers? What, some sorta martial arts style?
Not exactly.
It might only refer to the Sod-Killers penchant for using force to ascertain certain truths. A 'sod-sligner' could be a slang name for the representation of a person using the Sod-Killers methods.
Ah.
Anyways, on with the show.
I-pod(noun)
A highly risky endeavor with minimal gains or chance of success, usually fueled by pride. Comes from an urban myth about a technomage who tried to enchant his I-pod to cast Fireball when he pressed a certain button. Needless to say, as with most other attempts at combining technology and magic, it didn't go well, and there were bits of technomage spread out all over the lower Ward for a week(though, some people claim he was actually successful, and he just accidentally pressed the button. The world may never know.).

Shining(ad)
Really, really annoying, but not in a way you can just smack whoever for. Comes from the really annoying ways shiners make conversation.
A Black Mage-A usally psicotic spellslinger, bent on mass destruction
Wilson (noun) - A person that tends to overlook details and subtleties and always ends up paying for it. (A flake, a harebrain, etc).
Originally coined by the Githzerai, it comes from the story of Gilbert Wilson (aka Gilbert the Overzealous, Gilbert the Suicidal and Gilbert the Illithid-Slayer by those that learned to respect him), one of first shadowprimes to become a full-fledged planewalker by trade. The Michigan-born explorer was most famous for making first contact with the Githzerai... and immediately attacking them, thinking that they were Githyanki. Thankfully, the awkward misunderstanding was quickly sorted out and the explorer escaped only with a severe beating. Since then, while he was still respected by Earthers, Gilbert Wilson became the laughingstock of Limbo and the butt of quite a few Gith jokes. Dispite the ridicule, Gilbert continued his career as a planewalker for the next thirty years. He retired at the age of 54 and spent the rest of his life with his 26 year-old wife Albetha, a Cormyrian noblewoman who he had courted during a rather lengthy adventure in Toril.
