Out of curiosity, is there a limit on the size of messages? I ask because I've accumulated over 60 quotes in some twenty-odd sources. This translates into about 50+ pages of material to support my opinion as I was asked to do months ago before school and life interfered.

Dunno, but I sure hope there is.

There is, and I've hit the character limit on a few of my recent stories. However, because of this, and because Clueless is awesome, the limit was pushed up a bit. I'm not sure how much exactly, and if it'd cover you on 50 pages. The most I've hit was around 40.

(And I'm referring to the character limits on submissions. It may be different than for forum posts, I'm not sure)

The max falls somewhere around 26,000 characters. With a doc that long you may want to try to post it - then check to see if anything got trimmed off the end. If it did then you'll have to split it up into two.

Did I not try to warn you not to push me?

Please note, if the discussion becomes confrontational again I will ask that it be taken to PMs, emails or off the boards entirely for reasons that include me retaining my sanity.

I merely meant that the evidence was in my favor and that putting it together would be overwhelming.

Because quantity equals quality and Xan is an absolutely pure, objective and unbiased judge of his own evidence. One of those sources wouldn't involve the equation (a+b)(a-b) = a(a-b), would it?

Apologies if I'm acting out of line. I feel that Xan's claims that his accumulated evidence is universally valid, relevant and unassailable in advance of any posting is asking for a confrontation, though. If it's as good as he thinks it is, it'll stand up well on its own. It it doesn't, talking it up beforehand is not going to help.

Actually, all of my sources, with the exception of Planewalker, are published books either written by TSR/WotC or are officially licensed by WotC.

Well yes, but we will still look at the argument and sources and see if they hold together cohesively and soundly.

I look forward to your posting, as I belive there is nothing more that can be said reletevently until we see your argument.

I would expect no less. One of the quotes is from Skip Williams, however.
