Bois Verdurous Fruit
Bois Verdurous fruit, also called 'Holy Pears' by less than pious Athar, are a bell-shaped fruit that comes from the Athar's now destroyed sacred tree. The fruit is a object of reverence for both the Athar and the lingering church of Aoskar. The Bois Verdurous fruit stores Clerical Spells that are cast upon the Bois Verdurous fruit in a manner very similar to potions. The Bois Verdurous fruit in this adventure module stores a Cure Critical Wounds spell and is not particularly valuable for its magical properties.
In truth, the seeds of the Bois Verdurous fruit are what is truly valuable as they allow the growth of a new Bois Verdurous tree.
Gold Value: 5,000 (only to interested buyers)
Lightbringer
Lightbringer is a curved long sword +5 that has the qualities of a Short Sword of Quickness and a Defender. Light bringer has a Continual Light spell cast upon it that gives the sword a beautiful glowing sheen whenever it is used. The blade's hilt is also especially well decorated with a gold enameling and five gemstones worth 1000 gold pieces each.
Unfortunately, Lightbringer is also a sword that's specifically designed for Vartus Timlin and only someone of his blood can properly wield the blade. Unless the Dungeon Master chooses to decree that a player character is a long lost descendant of the Ex-Factol, the blade functions only as a +3 Enchanted Sword in the hands of anyone else but the Crime Lord.
Gold Value: 18,000 (75,000 if it's powers are somehow unlocked)
DM's Note: At the DM's discretion, Lightbringer can be reforged by Coaxmetal or blessed by Aola to function in the hands of someone other than Vartus Timlin. This option should only be presented as an reward for exceptional role-playing.
