Lost Thread

A couple years ago I started a topic where I asked a question about Altraloths, Baernaloths, the Paraelemental Planes, and the Quasielemental Planes because they were particular topics I lacked any information on. I got a bunch of useful answers, and probably then, if I had the foresight, I should have saved it to my computer, because now I can't find it. I've gone through each folder page by page, and even used the site's search function. Nothing. It's nowhere to be found. Now I'm practically in tears because useful information I had is now lost.

Can anyone help compile the information I need? Again?

I would track Shemeshka the Marauder's posts for info on yugoloths, altraloths, and baernaloths. And I believe Hyena of Ice was working on a project to flesh out the paraelemental plane of ice.

One thing you might try is posting this in the bugs/report section. There might be archived content on a serve - long shot but it might be worth it...

Did you have a different forum account then? Because according to your stats above, this is the only post you've ever made.

Feel free to ask the questions again. We still know the answers. Also, if the site's own search function isn't working, try entering "altraloth site:Planewalker.com" into Google.

No, it was the same account. What's interesting is the only posts I made prior were in that now missing thread. The mere fact that it's showing this was the only post I've made confirms my fear that the forum ate the old thread.

Thanks for your help. From the looks of some of your sources, I may have to invest in Dragon Annual #2.

I didn't much care for the idea of Altroloths myself, and preferred to just think of the beings in Dragon Annual 2 as other yugoloth lords in the same vein as the Oinoloth and Charon, with quasideity status.

My Ice topic is labelled "Project Ice", but it's a huge mess. I also wrote quite a bit about elemental physiology and psychology in the "Brainstorm" topic (that thread is also somewhat of a mess)

I don't much care for the idea that night hags are responsible for most of the yugoloths' leaders either, and prefer to credit the baernaloths for altering certain members of the race. However, note that according to Dragon Annual #2, Charon is also an altraloth.
