Is the Dice Roller Useful?

Have any of you found yourselves using (or planning to use) our latest bot?

Are there improvements I need to make to it?

I think the die-rolling should be built into the posting script. See, that way people can roll in the open, so to speak. Not that I don't have the deepest trust for everyone here...

I'd have to agree. if we could just type some BBS script and have a random generator, it would really help.

I second, no, third that. Hah, Rule of Threes! Hmm... How would that work. If I didn't like my roll, I'd just edit my post... Well, I ain't a programmer, so I don't know if it'll work, but it would be especially useful for the PBPs on these forums.

MTGNews forums used to have this kind of script, and how it worked THERE was that the die roll was appended to the post, and once the roll was made, the post could not be edited except by moderators.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough PHP to program such a patch myself. : /
