if there's any space for more artists...

I see you guys already got plenty of awesome folks drawing, and I have no idea what your timeframe is like. I have a few sketches here, to see if you'd be interested in letting me get some stuff together for you...

...I stopped drawing the tiefling halfway through, since she wasn't turning out right.

*blink* Wow.... ok, yeah - I'm keeping a list of names to contact as soon as I get breathing space. I think you can safely consider yourself on that list. Eye-wink Watch the art thread and your PMs - nothings going to happen till after July 17th, then I'm going to start going through looking for good places to put arts into the chapters (you can do that as well if you want to get started on it, and just mention specific pages that you think would be nice to spruce up with something).

I think the beholder and modron are particularly good. Smiling The one piece of criticism I would offer is that it's not immediately clear that the bariaur is not bipedal.

(please just keep in mind that these are incomplete sketches. I would have the sense to actually draw the whole bauriar, were I actually drawing one).

(a thousand riches to anyone who actually recognizes the little fellow with the pickaxe and the pack. Hint: not from d&d).

It's an imp from the Dungeon Keeper games. Clueless, are my PMs sending? I sent one, and then it seemed to not have sent so I sent another one after the other.

Was it to me? PMs don't leave your outbox till their intended recipient shows up... (You get a copy automatically saved in the sent box)

Yes, to you. Hummgh. I think it's a browser problem. Bollocks to this stupid machine. I'll just post it for now, and please notify me of an email address to heckle you with, other than that newsletter one.

So is it going to work this time? Let's see if I can remember the original message.

I have a couple things to submit, but I want to know what's cool to turn in...

How much of the Races section can I call? I've already done a different Tiefling female, one which doesn't like like that other awful strumpet I scribbled, looks more like a Gypsy. I also already completed an Aasimar female, and I can do males for either of these as well. I can probably whip up a finished Modron in like twenty minutes, and as far as the "Other Races" section goes, I have this great idea of drawing a little meeting between a Modron and a Warforged.

I don't want to be too greedy, 'cause I like the rest of the talent here. On the other hand, what the hell.

Would you prefer that I send you higher-resolution versions of things, for the PDFs themselves? I won't be able to present anything until Wednesday, as some damn photographer ran off with my scanner -- but I want to know now, so I can toss this stuff your way when I can.

Hope you're doing well,
john

Ok, as you may have noticed we just got chapter 2 updated with art. I finally got the art from him, and coordinated with with the other PSCS manager - it'd been in the works for quite some time. As far as I know - that's our biggest 'done' chunk so far so all else is up for claiming.

However, there *are* 9 chapters - so there's tons of work out there and no reason to focus all our artistic attention on chapter 2. Check out the following post for my current 'To Do' list and the thread to lay claim to a request.

So I'm still working on the pieces I signed up for, but these were drawn a while ago before I got to a scanner. I'll color them if you think they belong anywhere, otherwise I just feel like sharing.

The one in the middle is rather feminine for a man.

I think it's a man...

Really? The face looks right, but the lack of visible boobs and the crotch bulge makes it look like a (feminine) man.

So - uh - wow. Um, there's just no comment I can make to this thread that doesn't sound worse than it already is is there?

It seems to me that mostly, my art makes people pay attention to crotches. Should I illustrate PSCS Chapter 10: Crotches of the Factols, or what?

(p.s. Clueless, give me 'till the end of the week on that art I said I'd have by now. I've barely gotten a start, a few other deals are in the works for me and unfortunately, my art follows my wallet because my wallet fills my stomach)

Of course crotches are important! There´s a crotch in a game that is a portal key. Pharod´s crotch! And crotches DO get attention... although you should notice also that he paid attention to her boobs.
And... they´re quite very short, don´t you think? Not only toadman.
