I did that with both bbcode and html and it still showed up as text. And I am using a photobucket account.
i think it's just not registering that i'm clicking the "Allow BBCode" thing
You need to use the url line (the url address) under your picture to use the process I described above.
First off you need a url of where the image is on a site that can share the image (like photobucket.com). Then you put it in the image brackets like so:
[ img ]http://image_url[ /img ]
But without the spaces in between the brackets. Or you can cick on that nifty little button to the top right of your reply post screen that says "Img" on it, then type in the image url then press it again to close out the link.
If I were you, I would get a photobucket account (it is free) and post your image there then insert the url from it into your post as explained above.
