It's called Valhalla. And great heroes never retire, they just become einheriar and keep on fighting...and fighting...and fighting...until Ragnarok.

No they don't! There are at least TWO drinks before they fight.
It's drink and drink and drink and drink and fight and drink and drink and drink and fight and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight...

Some go to the Isles of the Blessed in Thalasia, Elysium's fourth and final layer. There they sleep, enjoying their well-earned rest until they are needed again. Then a horn is sounded and the heroes awake to fight the final battle.

Can you imagine security on that joint, though? Retired heroes should have managed to accumulate one hell of a Rogue's Gallery...

I'm writing up a couple of places along those exact lines; I hope to have one up next week.

But think of the lesons taught to us by Cohen the Barbarian. Sure he's old. But in a profession where the mortality rate is higher than the mortality rate of pyrophiliac moths, he has lived to be very old. Scary.

Live long enough and you'll become Emperor of the Counterweight Continent and get to chill with the gods and stuff? Rock on!

True that!
it would have some tight security and alot of space in the rooms, when you think of it, they would have lots of stuff, i would love to be an epic rogue near that place, it would be awsome, what do you think Sphagetti Man?

Not to be an anal retentive ass, but this thread doesn't belong in a subforum about rules; this should go in RPG Discussion.
