In late September I will be in New York city for about a week on business. I'm arranging it so I can stay a few etra days in order to visit with the folks who put us and our animals up after Hurricane Katrina. Now I seem to remember we once had a cluster of Planewalker located in or near the Big Apple and thought with some advance notice a meetup might be arranged.

Well, I'm a big planescape fan and have been a planewalker for some time now, but I'm about two hours north of the city. Still, it's always fun to meet new people. Keep us informed Loki, maybe I'll catch a bus down. 
@Azure: Are you up along the Metro North line then? I'll be hitting Dobbs Ferrry/Ardsley to visit friends before leaving as well.
Looks like I'l be flying in on 9-19. We are still lookng into my return date/free time ratio.

Sort of. I'm about 20 - 30 minutes from Poughkeepsie, which is Metro N's end-point. However, it is easier for me to bus myself down to Port Authority if I want to get into NYC, because I work part time at the Bus Station in New Paltz. That means a) free parking, b) free bus ride, and c) easier to get to. Merto N is fun too, though

Okay dates for the trip are solidified. I wil be arriving mid day the 19th and dearting early evening on the 30th. I should have an idea of what sort of scheduling I will be looking at once there sometime soon. More as it develops.
Cool. I'm only available on the weekends, and even then I'll have to plan ahead, i.e. before the 1st of the month. Questions are, where are you coming in, where will you be, and where/when would you like to meet up? I have to check, but I think there is a NY anime fest I may go to with my brother one of those weekends. I know the 20th/21st is the last weekend of the NY Ren Faire at Sterling Forest. Anyway, I'll keep you updated.
I should be around as well. Like Azure, I can only meet on weekends (preferably friday or saturday late afternoon/night, but I'm flexible). Just let me know when and where, and I can probably show up as well.
