Harmonium Art?

Does anyone know of good references for Harmonium members? I am including them in chapter 2 and I would like to try and make something recognizable.

Thanks!

I can help you out if you don't mind waiting until the third when I am back withy books. Off the top of my head, I used the factol's manifesto, the PCS and a picture of Ebb from Torment as my main references.

Thanks, Dagon! I should be able to wait about that long. My first page of Chapter 2 goes up in a week and I think I need refs either by page 2 or 3...The sooner the better!

And Sam, you bring up a good question. What would Harmonium art look like? I'm imagining a propaganda machine. Posters extolling the virtue of Sarin and later (and earlier) factols, maybe even making them look angelic?

Imagine an artist who has actually been to Heaven painting it on a church's ceiling. That's marketing!

Neoplasticism.

Or maybe that would be modron art...

Neoplasticism looks very modron to me.

Harmonium art is probably restricted to police sketches and wanted posters, with the occasional recruitment poster "Uncle Sarin wants YOU!".

Re: Harmonium Art?

I'd think neo-classical, fascist art, with lots of dramatic columns, stiff realistic figures, and art extolling the heroism of the Hardheads of times past.

But really, the Harmonium is incredibly varied, as it includes an entire planet, a dozen or so colony worlds, several Outer Planes, and Sigil. Some of the art might look more Islamic, some more like the propaganda art of the Soviet Union, some more like the Catholic Church.

Of course they make art. It's a basic part of being human. Not just wanted posters, either.
