Harbinger House and new deities

Did any of those berks from the Harbinger House adventure actually become gods? Officially, I mean... Doesn't D&d generally assume for canonical purposes that the heros successfully complete the adventure? There were at least four or five characters mentioned that were in the process of becoming gods (I assume Sougod was killed by the PCS?)

I think the "good ending" of Harbinger House presumes that the Bard that loved the Lady of Pain is transformed into a power as a result of the player characters actions.

For me, My players weren't terribly sympathetic. They saw him as a guy who'd led hundreds of people to their death with no remorse.

Trolan and Sougad both have a real chance at powerhood, but I don't think anything of them is mentioned in later products.
